The GOP Is Murderous

"GOP hopes stymied by infighting, Trump, and bad candidates", from the Washington Post this morning.
Fire these idiot pundits.
GOP hopes dashed by women who don't want to die, or their daughters to die (male violence against women, denying abortion, guns, no law enforcement protection), and Gen Z, who also don't want to die (school shootings).
I realize women and Gen Z are only a fraction of the people whose humanity the Republicans deny through their platforms, communications, law-making and policies, but I focus on them because they were the voting bloc that handed the U.S. Senate (and maybe the House) to the Democrats this midterm election, defying the pundits who simply don’t acknowledge their existence or their power.
The GOP is murderous. Yet you can make a completely asinine statement like the one above on one of our major papers, and still keep your job.
Baffling how consistently blind these men are to the importance and centrality of others lives to themselves. I believe most of them truly don't see their fellow human beings as human beings like them. They seem to live in a delusional bubble where only they exist and others exactly like them, the rest simply tools.
Killing your wife helps you win elections when you’re a Republican.
This article, published in Politico in July 15 of this year, is ostensibly about a 10 year old rape victim trying to get an abortion, but really highlights how little these men think of, or care for, women, our lives.
They say things like this,
Abortion still ranks below other issues — most of all, the economy — as a top priority of voters, and the electoral landscape is so bleak for Democrats this year that they are likely to sustain widespread losses regardless of fallout from Roe. By November, said Dave Carney, a national Republican strategist based in New Hampshire, “it’s not going to matter what Bopp or whatever … his name is says. It’s not going to trump 9.1 percent inflation.”
To them, to these Republican men, the importance and value of women and girls, our lives, rank well below the economy.
We see that. We understand what your priorities mean for us, and we voted like our lives depended upon it, because they did and do.
These Republican men, and the women who align with them, should never be allowed to govern again, because their staggering blindness to reality, leads to insanity, and becomes lethal on a massive scale.
