Why AR/VR (Augmented and Virtual Reality) Died: The Patriarchy OS Killed It
Billions poured into VR and AR. The hype machine ran hot — the “metaverse” was supposed to change everything. They promised whole new economies, new ways of living, working, connecting.
And what do we have now? Gimmicks. Toys. Empty rollouts. A field that was supposed to transform humanity sputtered out and collapsed.
Everyone asks why. The answer is simple: patriarchy.
The Patriarchy OS in Action
They coded the same operating system into immersive tech that already rules the physical world: patriarchy.
Harassment. Silencing. Exploitation. Misogyny built into the system itself.
Why would women volunteer for more of that?
They thought women would eagerly strap on headsets and step into worlds where our obliteration was baked in. They thought we’d smile while being erased.
We didn’t.
Women Didn’t Adopt
Because women aren’t suicidal. Because we know what happens when the same men who broke the real world design the virtual one.
Women didn’t adopt.
And without women, men didn’t stay.
That’s why adoption never came. That’s why the metaverse is a graveyard.
I Warned Them
I kept saying it, over and over: “You fucking idiots — women have to be part of the creative team. Because we will make worlds we actually want to be in.”

On one level, some got it. A few nodded politely. But not enough were willing to face the truth: their dominance itself had to shrink—women don’t like being murdered, enslaved, dehumanized by men. It’s so awful. We would NEVER choose it.
They didn’t listen. They erased the women building the real solutions. They buried the truth.
And the stupid, limited, patriarchal fuckwads killed the field.
What They Stole
I wasn’t just talking. I was building.
My AR/VR platform was weeks from launch. It was designed to authenticate, monetize, and secure immersive content — the backbone of commerce in virtual worlds.
That wasn’t a “project.” My platform, Metaobjects, was the next operating system for human exchange.
They stole it. They buried it. They almost killed me in the process.

They didn’t just kill women’s futures. They killed humanity’s future.
The Cost of Misogyny
Patriarchy doesn’t just destroy women. It destroys innovation.
It destroyed AR/VR because it refused to let women build the worlds worth inhabiting.
That’s why we don’t have mass adoption. That’s why the “metaverse” collapsed into dust.
The Truth They Can’t Face
Women don’t want to live in worlds designed to erase us.
Until women are co-creators, no immersive world will thrive.
The future will always stall, sputter, collapse — because the Patriarchy OS is a dead end.
The Demand
Restitution isn’t just justice for me. It’s the restart button for innovation itself.
Give me back what was stolen — the money, the platform, the future.
Or admit it: you killed AR/VR because you couldn’t stand to let women lead.
The metaverse didn’t fail because the tech wasn’t ready. It failed because the patriarchy was running the code.
ONE JODI — Inured to propaganda by her father, sharpened by therapy, and forged in theatre, Jodi Schiller became a global leader in AR/VR. She built the platform that should have been the backbone of immersive commerce — until it was stolen, buried, and erased by the Patriarchy OS. A survivor of atrocity and a relentless truth-teller, she now exposes how misogyny doesn’t just destroy women — it destroys the future itself.
